The Humboldt Neighborhood association was re-established in the summer of 2025. We voted in our board and approved our new by-laws that same winter. We’re still ramping up, but are incredibly excited to meet all our neighbors and serve the community in any way we can! Learn more about our board members below but know that the best way to get to know us is to come to our next HNA meeting and say “hello”!
Officers and Chairfolk
Lynne Randall – President
Lynne Randall (President) is so excited to live out her Leslie Knope dreams by revitalizing the Humboldt Neighborhood Association. An experienced, well-rounded public servant, Lynne has spent her career exploring different aspects of local government and non-profits, including the Y of Greater Seattle, the Highline School District and the Washington State Legislature. Lynne moved into the Humboldt neighborhood in 2019 to marry Jeremy (Technology Chair) and have an adorable Portland native baby, Jon Finley. Since moving to Portland, Lynne previously worked for Multnomah County’s Division of Assessment, Taxation, and Recording, issuing marriage licenses and taking property tax payments, and now works for the Portland Revenue Division, taking calls from taxpayers about the myriad of local taxes in our region. You might have encountered her in the neighborhood slinging beers on the patio at McMenamins Chapel Pub or knocking on doors during election season as a Precinct Committeeperson. Lynne is the class mom for her child’s Preschool For All class, organizes with Singing Resistance PDX, and enjoys knitting and reading during her (increasingly scarce) free time.

Madison Wagner – Treasurer
Madison is great! She’s our treasurer and one day we’ll have a little bit of treasure for her to…er. She does lots of stuff and has lots of stuff she’s going to do soon. One of those things is sending me a photo and updated bio she wants to appear publicly. Get in touch with Madison here!
Kyle Pratt – Secretary
Kyle is also great. As Secretary, Kyle takes and publishes our minutes, structures our meeting agenda, and ensures we adhere to our bylaws. But he does so much more beyond that, and he’s also a pretty cool dude. He has a half dozen cats that all make themselves known on zoom calls, and has a lot of stuff on his plate. One of those things is sending me a photo and a short bio he wants to appear publicly. Get in touch with Kyle here!
Board Chairs
Joshua Eichen – Safety and Livability Chair
Joshua is our Safety and Livability Team Chair. A longtime resident of the Humboldt Neighborhood, he likes meeting old friends in the community almost as much as he likes making new ones. He’s smart, friendly, and very capable. We like Joshua, and we bet you will too! Get in touch with Joshua here!
Rosswell Danielson – Community Engagement Chair
Ross is our Community Engagement Team Chair. He’s lived in the Humboldt Neighborhood since time immemorial and knows just about everybody. He booked the band for our last block party – 24/7 365 – and they rocked the house! You can probably find Ross tabling a local cultural event with a stack of flyers, but otherwise, you can get in touch with him here!
Jeremy Duke – Technology Chair
Jeremy Duke is our Technology Chair. He’s responsible not only for this website, but also does his best to cajole A/V equipment into cooperating with the A/V setup at our new HNA meeting spot, NEC The Historic Baker Building. He’ll likely provide himself with a photo and updated bio for the site when he has a bit more time (or is willing to trade an hour or two of sleep).
You? – Local Passion Project Chair or HNA Member
We wouldn’t be a neighborhood without you. So it stands to reason that we can’t be a representative Neighborhood Association without you either! Seriously, we want you to come join us! Drop in for a meeting (our upcoming meeting schedule is in the sidebar!). Come tell us what you love about our neighborhood, or what changes you want to be involved in making to keep it vibrant! Check out our membership page for more info on how to join.
